A thank-you from Peter Hier.

[photo] Without the volunteer support teams, which Alysia has built up over the years, the Windsor Half Marathon would not take place. I would like to say a personal thank you for supporting me so completely in this my first year: Dr, Steve Vaughan Smith (BASICS), St. John Ambulance, Royal Mail staff, 5th. Windsor and 7th. Windsor Scouts, 115 cadets from the Middlesex Wing Air Training Corps. The Squadrons represented were 86 (Heston and Isleworth), 94 (Feltham), 267 (Twickenham), 342 (Ealing & Brentford), 398 (Staines & Egham), 862 (Sunbury), 1382 (West Drayton & Yiewsley) and 1846 (Southall)

Her Majesty The Queen has graciously granted permission for this event to take place each year, starting and finishing on The Long Walk. It is a very special privilege.

Thank you sponsors: Nike, Barbour Index, Building Magazine, Caradon, Laing, RMC plus corporate friends, BP Amoco, WS Atkins, Trillium, Fitzpatrick, Chelverton Homes, Morgan Cole, Schofield Lothian and Enterprise IG, your support has been very much appreciated.
