Rules and Regulations

  • Prize winners are only allowed to receive one prize. E.g. If a veteran runner finishes amongst the first 6 prize winners in the Open Race then he / she will not be eligible for the award in the veteran category.
  • If for some unfortunate reason you are unable to run then you MUST return the Championchip in the envelope provided. Failure to do so will incur a charge of £10.00 to cover the cost.
  • It is important to note that we shall be using a timing chip that will be attached to your shoe. These are expensive to produce. Therefore there will be a levy of £10.00 for all non returned chips. We will endeavour to retrieve your chips at the end of the finishing funnels - should you manage to slip through you can take the chip to the Administration Office.
  • Cancellations: We regret that once entry applications have been processed we cannot refund any entry fee if you do not eventually take part
  • Substitutions: can be made, but only if the running number is returned to the Half Marathon Office for re-allocation. If both names or numbers run then both will be disqualified
  • No dogs,cyclists or prams are allowed on the course during the race
  • Runners are NOT required to register before the race
  • Check you bank statement for confirmation of acceptance
  • The organisers reserve the right to limit and refuse entries.
  • The organisers will not accept responsibility for incomplete entry details

Medical Advice:

  • If you suffer from any form of medical condition you must mark the front of your number with a prominent waterproof cross. Please give brief details of your medical condition and what medication you take on the reverse of your number. For further medical information please download the information sheet here.
