Welcome to the Windsor Half Marathon which this year takes place on Sunday 21st September. As you are all probably well aware the 2007 race was cancelled due to the sudden outbreak of Foot and Mouth which meant that Windsor Great Park was closed. In fact it did not reopen again until the first week of November.

This years running will indeed be the events 26th and hopefully it will be as successful as the previous 25.

At this point I would like to say a big thank you to all those who stood by us through the very difficult last six months and who are again joining us to make 2008 another memorable Windsor Half Marathon.

I look forward to seeing you on September 21st.
